GREATER BIRMINGHAM HUMANE SOCIETY

Part of our responsibility to our city residents is ensuring the humane and effective removal and care of pets and strays across Fultondale. Our partnership with the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, or GBHS, ensures all animals within city limits are picked up and taken to their shelter.

Missing A Pet?

If you have lost a pet, the first thing you should do is visit the GBHS lost pets page to see whether they have been turned in to the shelter. Check back often, as the website is updated daily, and GBHS are out on the streets picking up strays and lost animals every day. You can also choose to call GBHS directly or contact them via their Facebook page listed below. If GBHS has picked up your pet, you’ll be required to provide proof of ownership on collection.
